Responsible for managing all materials at solar EPC project sites, including receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with safety and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inventory of solar modules, inverters, MMS, cables, and BOS materials.
Receive and inspect incoming materials; prepare GRN/MRN.
Issue materials as per approved requisitions and maintain accurate stock records.
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams for timely material availability.
Maintain documentation, stock registers, and daily/weekly inventory reports.
Ensure safe storage, handling, and housekeeping of store areas.
Support audits and ensure compliance with EPC project standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Logistics or related field.
3–7 years of store management experience; solar EPC experience preferred.
Knowledge of solar materials and inventory processes.
ERP/Tally or inventory software proficiency.
Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

]]>Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Procurement & Planning
Develop and implement procurement strategies for solar EPC and energy infrastructure projects (modules, inverters, MMS, transformers, cables, BOS materials, etc.).
Align procurement timelines with project execution schedules and contractual milestones.
Collaborate with project, design, and finance teams to finalize technical specifications and cost estimates.
Manage annual procurement budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans linked to project funding and disbursements.
2. Vendor Development & Management
Identify, prequalify, and onboard reliable vendors, OEMs, and EPC subcontractors.
Establish long-term supply agreements and framework contracts with major suppliers.
Conduct periodic performance evaluations covering delivery, quality, and pricing.
Build a strong vendor ecosystem for civil, mechanical, and electrical works under EPC scope.
3. Commercial & Contractual Oversight
Review and negotiate vendor contracts, purchase orders, and service agreements to ensure commercial soundness and risk mitigation.
Coordinate with legal and finance teams for documentation related to guarantees, LC, or collateral-backed procurements.
Monitor supplier payment terms and cash flow adherence in line with bank funding cycles (e.g., Canara Bank support).
4. Inventory & Logistics Management
Optimize material inventory levels to balance project timelines and working capital efficiency.
Ensure smooth logistics management — including customs clearance, inland transport, and on-site delivery coordination.
Implement digital tracking for supply chain visibility (ERP / SAP / project dashboards).
Minimize material losses, damages, and delays through proactive planning.
5. Quality, Compliance & Audits
Ensure that all procured materials conform to MNRE, BIS, and client technical standards.
Coordinate factory inspections, third-party tests, and certifications before dispatch.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for internal, client, and lender audits.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Engineering, Project Execution, and Finance teams for BOQ finalization, procurement sequencing, and cost reporting.
Support Project Head in timely material delivery for smooth site progress.
Participate in project review meetings and report supply chain KPIs to management.
**Proven expertise in high-value procurement (₹100 Cr+ annually) and vendor management in infrastructure or renewable energy domains.
Experience working on developer-funded or bank-backed EPC projects is a strong plus.
**Core Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of solar EPC components and supply chain dynamics.
Strong negotiation, cost-control, and vendor relationship management skills.
Familiarity with import/export processes and logistics operations.
Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making ability.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally Prime) and project management tools.
